Members of the Tillamook County Pioneer Association have been meeting together and are planning a 90th Anniversary Celebration happening in May 2024!
From May 1 - 31 there will be an exhibit on display at the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum guiding you on a journey through the past 90 years of our association.
Although the exhibit opens on May 1st, there will be a GRAND OPENING of the exhibit on Saturday, May 4th with board members to visit with and refreshments to enjoy. There will also be a picture of the founding members. We can't identify all the faces. Maybe you can help us identify your ancestors?
The association idea to preserve our Tillamook County history started at a birthday party for Rhoda Quick Johnson in 1934. Rhoda loved lemon pie so our refreshments will assuredly have a lemon theme!
